Not everybody has a large house and if you confront the problem of lack of space, combining the spaces is a great idea to fix it. We have already shown how to incorporate a home office into a bedroom, living room and kitchen and today I'll share another popular combo: a guest bedroom with a home office.
There are two ways to go: a seamless transition with no space division or visually separating the two zones together with layout and furniture or colours. You may also opt for a sleeping zone with a comfy bed or in the case of extreme lack of space pick a convertible sofa which will become a bed when needed. Let us take a peek at all of the examples.
Combos With Beds
In case you've got sufficient space in the guest bedroom, spoil your guests with a true bed and visually split the working and sleeping zones. Decide on a desk in a different shade, put it from the window next to a wall far from the bed. One more cool idea to split these zones is creating an upper level to the bed and placing the desk under it. If you can't spend too much space on the working zone, go to get a windowsill one, that is no less functional than the usual usual desk.
Combos With Sofas
If your guest bedroom is quite small, you need to substitute a mattress to get a convertible sofa, which does not require much space nonetheless gives enough sleeping space in precisely the exact same moment. In terms of the desk, it may be a windowsill or possibly a built-in one with built-in shelves. If the room is tiny, there is no requirement to divide the spaces anyway, and there are lots of combos that enable placing the mattress and the desk quite tightly, the desk may be utilized as a nightstand.
