Designers keep surprising us demonstrating that even the smallest places can adapt everything necessary for contemporary living. Now we're featuring one of these apartments again -- this really is a small space of just 24 square meters but that is enough!
Brazilian design company Casa 100 Arquitetura made this compact apartment for a single person who resides Rio de Janeiro but travels to São Paulo to get the work. As it is another home used mostly for sleeping, the proprietor did not wish to spend much money yet desired a comfortable space.
The designers determined by simple materials and minimum decor so the apartment reminded of a comfy hotel room -- such a space would not demand much investing. Some industrial touches such as durable concrete countertops have been contained to cut on the costs.
A dotted glass panel lets light to go into the bathroom. 2 concrete shelves type the kitchenwith all the one on the floor acting as the kitchen countertop which proceeds on to hold the TV and cupboard box. Below that's space to house a suitcase, more shoes and clothes. The upper shelf holds books and decorative items, together with a plant. Perforated sliding doors help disguise what is being saved in the cupboard or at the kitchen, which can help change the sense of this space.
