Many mid-century modern homes are proven to possess quite an extreme and warm colour scheme but the home we're featuring today is none of those. It seems really airy, light-filled plus a bit more contemporary than a typical mid-century home on account of the usage of much blue-green timber and a lot of white colour.
The home has been constructed in the 70's and sits on nearly an acre of property with some wonderful views. The home is on the bigger side at around 4k square foot, as well as the exteriors and landscaping highlight what's happening from the interior of the home. The exterior is clad with black painted timber, there is a comfortable terrace with sand and large scale tiles, using a small dining zone.
Inside you will find a retractable roof done in white and white highlighted with dark beams and trendy chandeliers. The key open layout is split in to two parts; the lower one is a living room with mid-century muted colour furniture having an access to the patio -- a glazed wall brings excellent views. A great deal of windows and there fulfill the layout together with natural light and allow the owners appreciate the views.
The master bedroom has been done using a bed, a few chairs and a wood clad wall having an arched walkway into the master bathroom. So cool!
